Hi! I'm Diane Huber
BSW, MSW, RSW

I'm a Counsellor and Registered Social Worker
If you feel lost, sad, stressed, worried, or simply unsure how to move forward, you've come to the right place.
I’m passionate about helping people make sense of what happened, move through the pain, and start building a life that feels peaceful, hopeful, and inspired.
I’ve experienced the power of counselling both as a client myself and through my work with others. I know how meaningful it can be to have a safe place to talk, reflect, and feel supported.
I’m so glad you found your way here.
Why This Work Matters to Me
It All Started with a Connection
Twenty years ago, a counsellor helped me through one of the hardest times in my life.
Her support gave me space to make sense of the pain I didn’t have words for. She helped me say things I hadn’t been able to say and see things I hadn’t been ready to face.
That experience stayed with me. It shaped the way I look at people, pain, healing, and hope. It also started something in me. I knew one day, I wanted to offer that kind of support to others.
For the past 16 years, I’ve supported people through breakups, separation, divorce, abuse, anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout. I’ve walked with individuals during moments when safety, stability, and self-worth all feel shaken.
I started Inspired Living Therapy because everyone deserves a place where they feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. A place where the hardest parts of life can be talked about openly.
This work isn’t just a job for me.
It’s something I care deeply about.
It's my passion.
It’s my purpose.
Inspired Living Therapy is for anyone who feels overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure how to move forward.
Individual counselling is available online across Alberta and Ontario. In-person counselling sessions are also offered in Calgary (Quarry Park) and Strathmore.
I offer direct billing to most extended health benefit plans. Please check with your provider to confirm eligibility for coverage.
If you’re thinking about starting counselling, a free consultation is a good place to begin. We can talk through your concerns and see how I can support you.
My Approach
I start from a humanistic, client-centred place, meaning each session is guided by compassion, curiosity, and a focus on what strengthens healing. I blend approaches such as CBT, IFS, psychodynamic work, and solution-focused therapy to support both insight and practical change. The goal is to help life feel lighter and more grounded, and to support a future that feels meaningful, hopeful, and inspired.
